The Mafia Boss Game
The Mafia Boss is a free web based multiplayer online game, based on the Real Mafia Life so called “La Cosa Nostra”.
After you have created your mafioso, the first thing you have to do is to hire people to do your operation, and to protect you. Go recruit some hitmen, thugs, whores, card dealers, hustlers, and dealers. You started the game with $1 million. Once you have enough people, you need to go to the black market and buy some weapons and drugs to keep your people happy.
Now that you have enough people and weapon, you can start collecting money. You can start getting your whores to start pimping, or your hustlers to start collecting loans. Once you have enough money, go and buy some more drugs, or recruit more people.
If you think you are powerful enough, you can start attacking other gangster or you can build your own family and gather other gangster to join you.
So if you wanna know what it’s like to be a real Mafia Don like Alcapone, John Gotti and have all the little mafiosos “Kiss your Ring or Die”, then go and join!

I remember I was once play somekinda mafia-like game (darn, what was the title?). it’s pretty much like the game you’ve described: gathers thugs, collects money, kills other mafioso, an etc .. yeah, it was very fun.
La Cosa Nostra, reminds me of a Discovery program about mafia in US :) and of course the Omerta novel, as well as the Godfather (I’m not sure I’ve watched this movie)

I’ve tried this couple of months ago :) But.. hehe.. it’s not ‘free’ anymore, so I put my ‘thug’ character on hold.. hehe

The Mafia boss is corrupt and unfair!
FACT!!
I played for over a year. I will tell you a little story….There was once a guy who played a mafia game online for a long time, he found it to be unfair and corrupt so got a talented friend to make him a game while he marketed it.
Now the people that run the old game are stealing all his idea’s as his new game is far superior and the people that play it actually have a say and a chance to actually win something.

I play TMB, and have for 2 years. But I am now devoting my game time to what I think is a better game. Mobsterboss.com I just like it better. The owner seems to really have his shit together, and they seem to be constantly improving the game. And no, I don’t work for them. LOL I just happen to think it’s a really good game.
