Try Google New Search Interface

Wanna try Google’s new search results interface? Paste the following code into the address bar while you’re on any google page: (1 line)
javascript:alert(document.cookie="PREF=ID=fb7740f107311e46:TM=1142683332:
LM=1142683332:S=fNSw6ljXTzvL3dWu;path=/;domain=.google.com")
Now do a google search, your search result page will use the new style.

I can’t seem to get it to work… So just pasting that javascript to my browser’s address bar, and then click on the “Search” button on Google?

Ikin: Yes, you just have to make sure you’re on google.com. Make sure you type the above mentioned code all in one line. I made it into 2 lines because it’s too long. Good Luck!

Make sure to use these " quotation marks and not these: ”. Because javascript does not like the second ones ;-)
BTW: Thanks for the blog entry! I just found this new search layout a few months ago, too. I was wondering why it is just showing in my opera, but then I discovered that it has something to do with the cookies… very strange…

Thank you Jonas for mentioning that. The entry is now modified with the correct quotation mark.

I also can not use the code at my opera web browser. This is my step: Open google.com from my opera, at the search field, I paste all your code. But it show : Your search - javascript:alert(document.cookie=”PREF=ID=fb7740f107311e46:TM=1142683332: LM=1142683332:S=fNSw6ljXTzvL3dWu;path=/;domain=.google.com”) - did not match any documents.
