17-inch MacBook Pro
Apple just announced 17-inch MacBook Pro with 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo processor and it also features MagSafe connector, built-in iSight camera, and Front Row. Unlike 15-inch MacBook Pro, this new MacBook Pro is included with 8x SuperDrive (DVD-Burner) with dual-layer writing capabilities.
The 17-inch MacBook Pro also comes with a FireWire 800 ports which is not available on the 15-inch. Adding a FireWire 800 to the MacBook Pro 15-inch is possible through the ExpressCard slot. The new 17” MacBook Pro also comes with an extra USB 2.0 port, adding up a total of 3 USB ports.
The height of the 17” MacBook Pro is still 2.59 cm (same with 15-inch), it’s 3.5 cm wider, and a little heavier by 0.56 kg. Which one will you get?
