Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 released
On Monday, Microsoft announced the availability of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2. Unlike the previous release, this version is no longer a preview or the update of the preview but a real beta version.
This IE7 Beta 2 release is available for Windows XP with SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, and Windows XP 64-Bit Edition. This release is an English version and German, Finnish, Arabic, and Japanese versions are expected to be release over the next three weeks.
This beta release contained RSS discovery and subscription tools, tabbed browsing, improved security, and improvements on web standards technology (CSS, Transparent PNG). To install this browser, remember to uninstall any previous IE7 builds. To uninstall previous builds of IE7 go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Tick on Show Updates, and uninstall IE7.
Microsoft is encouraging people to try Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 and took an extra steps by providing toll-free telephone support to consumers in North America, Germany and Japan. Feel free to try it.
